Following on from the announcement of its partnership with Holmesglen Institute as its education partner, Dreamcity is proud to announce two more major partners; Construction Company Schiavello and Airstream Architects.
They are busily finalising designs and preparing to commence construction on the Dreamcity Pop-up, which is being established for proof of concept of this project in the Australian marketplace. Construction will commence on July 16th 2018.
Schiavello is a top 100 Australian privately owned company priding itself on quality, service excellence and innovation. The company has been creating and servicing world-class work and living environments for over 50 years. “We are very excited to be a part of this project. This is something that hasn’t been done before in Australia. We were initially drawn to this project by the passion and enthusiasm shown by the Dreamcity team, in particular the CEO Kajal Pala, and we look forward to making this dream a reality.” Said Daron Johnson, Director and Senior Construction Manager, Schiavello.
Capital raising activities for Dreamcity have been successful and the pop-up is due to open in the September school holidays at a location in the DFO precinct at South Wharf, Melbourne. A lease agreement for the pop-up, due to open in September has been signed with Vicinity Centres.
Dreamcity is also on track to open its full concept offering mid 2019. "Although it has been two years since the inception of this concept it feels like this is just the beginning. This is all about the experience that children will have when they walk through and we want them to have the best experience possible, empowering them to become better global citizens of tomorrow". Said Kajal Pala, Founder and CEO of Dreamcity.
There will be a media launch event for the pop up on Tuesday 18th September, with the official opening on Saturday 22nd September.
